Fantasy High Live!: Episode 10

We are back with more season 2 of Fantasy High! I'm skipping a large chunk of episodes as I mainly speak out the most recent one, so sorry. This week's episode was hilarious and heartbreaking at the same time, so it's just like any other episode then. This will be split up by the main fights that happen in this episode, and I will talk about the ending, so let's get to it.

The first battle we'll talk about is the spring break boys at the smithy. The mere idea of Fabian, Gorgug, and Riz naruto running had me in stitches, and the fact that they kept bringing it up was killing me. I loved all the positivity they had, just complimenting each other and keeping good vibes. They actually had a plan this fight that worked really well. Taking on each elemental one-by-one really saved them. Fabian running around putting people out and dancing were really funny and sweet. I'm excited to see what new class he gets, as with the dancing and fire elemental stuff, it seems like we might get a new one next episode. My theory is for a new class he'll choose monk. As their fighting style is the closest to dancing. Either way, that fight was really enjoyable and was a nice break from the loom and gloom from past episodes.

Next is the ladies' fight. First off, I get what Fig was doing when transforming into Aguefort, but that was honestly guaranteed to blow up in her face, and it did. While it was sad that Emily's rolls where so horrible this episode, it was kinda karma for doing stupid stuff. Speaking of stupid things, Kristen comes in with the most idiotic idea ever conceived on the set thus far. Her trying to be out and Brennan basically saying, "no, you want to do dumb stuff, I'm gonna MAKE you do dumb stuff" was so funny.

At least she's a healer and didn't somehow die from falling ten stories onto a stone floor. When they realized her spirit guardians would've hit Adaine's dad, making him visible and allowing Fig to hit him, ah poetic cinema.

Let's talk about the ending, though. I was part of the 1%, it seems, that didn't want Aelywin to get a redemption arc. I kinda feel like she didn't deserve it yet. But, I thought that now I would have to sit through it since Aelwen is nice now. The Brennan decided to make it so that Aewlwn is a jerk again, so that may take away the idea of her redemption for a while, but we will see. If they start working on a redemption now, I would be more open. I want Aelywen to decide for herself to be a better person, not have it be a side effect of horrid mental and physical torture. We will see what next week brings us.

Make sure to check out Fantasy High Live on dropout's twitch every Wednesday at 9 p.m. See you for the next episode.
